Well, the fish (and the blog posts) don’t get much fresher. I was just at the Ribarnica 15 minutes ago for the weekend protein and chanced upon this lovely lady axing a live šaran a question. She’s fresh, and I like it.
Speaking of money shots, these pretty boys had a little convention for your viewing pleasure:

It may still be raining like hell in Zagreb, but the girls are still pretty, the flowers still reek of late spring, and the fish still smile for the sheer excellence of it all. What a town.
But here’s what’s for dinner: anchovies. These wee squirts were swimming in the Adriatic around the isle of Krk not twelve hours ago. Aren’t they gorgeous? I will love them, hold them, cook them and eat them.
